چکیده
To identify the demographics and characteristics of operative acromioclavicular joint separations, as well characterize reconstruction techniques associated complications. The United States Military Health System Data Repository was queried for patients with a Current Procedural Terminology (CPT) code coracoclavicular ligament between October 2013 March 2020. Patient demographics, radiology reports, clinical notes were reviewed to postoperative A total 956 reconstructions (896 primary repairs or reconstructions, 60 revision reconstructions) performed 896 indicated range separation severities: three grade two 392 48 four 386 5 separations; remaining 67 did not have definitive injury defined by treating surgeon. Of procedures, 356 acutely within 6 weeks injury, while 538 greater than after injury. Two hundred twenty eight procedures categorized repairs, 652 utilizing graft. Following these there 104 major complications requiring return operating room, including symptomatic failures revision, 18 fractures clavicle coracoid, 25 deep surgical site infections 9 cases hardware removal hardware, 4 adhesive capsulitis manipulation under anesthesia. Operative Treatment of Acute Acromioclavicular Dislocation
For treatment of acute acromioclavicular dislocation we chose operative treatment in which we fixed clavicule to coracoid with a screw. With regard to the clinical results, out of 6 patients who had gone under operation, only one had calcification at coracoclavicular ligament without limitation of motion. There were no serious postoperative complication.

Although common, AC joint injuries and their treatments are not benign. The injury itself and both nonsurgical and surgical treatments may result in complications yielding persistent pain, deformity, or dysfunction. Sternoclavicular joint injuries are far less common and are typically the result of higher energy trauma. As such, the associated complications may be more serious. Familiarity with...

Abstract Background: Different methods of surgical treatment for acromioclavicular(AC) joint injury were considered in the literature. The purpose of the study was to compare intra- articular AC repair technique with the extra-articular coracoclavicular repair technique for the patients with Rockwood type III and VAC joint injury when indicated. Methods: Nineteen consecutive patients wi...

Acromioclavicular joint (ACJ) injuries are common, but their incidence is probably underestimated. As the treatment of some sub-types is still debated, we reviewed the available literature to obtain an overview of current management. We analysed the literature using the PubMed search engine. There is consensus on the treatment of Rockwood type I and type II lesions and for high-grade injuries of ...

Acromioclavicular joint injuries and, more specifically, separations are commonplace both in general practice and during athletic participation. This article reviews the traditional classification as well as the clinical evaluation of patients with acute and chronic acromioclavicular joint separations. It also highlights many recent advances, principally in the anatomy and biomechanics of the a...
